Rates and Scheduling

My practice, which is LGBTQ+ friendly, operates under the aegis of my nonsectarian Minister's License. I consider myself spiritual but not religious, although these two categories are always open to interpretation.

I charge $185/hour. After 40 years as a counselor, my practice is now limited to individual consultation and mentoring by phone on Thursday and Friday afternoons Pacific Time (I live in Seattle). I no longer do “regular” counseling. Feel free to email me if you’d like more clarification about this distinction.

As an elder now (my birthday is 1/21/54), I am reinventing myself under the “umbrella” of an open-ended sabbatical. To honor my change from counselor to consultant, I am only working with people who take their personal evolution seriously but also lightly, with a generous sense of humor and a high degree of humility.

I am definitely not looking for clients who want to project their “stuff” onto me or anyone else in an attempt to avoid mutual consideration and personal responsibility. That style of behavior is understandable and it certainly isn’t wrong or bad. It’s simply not the kind of work I’m willing to engage in anymore.

Overall, I do best with folks who truly want what I have to offer now as a consultant or mentor. Before contacting me, a potential client would explore this website, my personal Facebook page, and/or my book. They know what they’re seeking in an advisor; they think I might be a good fit; and they’re ready to take the risk of reaching out to request my support.

It’s okay you’re a beginner or a veteran in the world of personal growth, as long as you are a mutually considerate person with a humanely inclusive worldview that arises from a truly compassionate heart.

Financially speaking, I don’t work insurance companies or offer discounts anymore. However, I can provide you with a statement for “Professional Consultation” if you are a sole proprietor.
